A person hears a song before it is listed

The list is small on purpose. A feed that merely claims to be free does not get in by itself.

Notes written in the margin of a lyric sheet

A reviewer marking a lyric sheet

Acceptance is a human step. The reviewer is listening for an original Christian song whose submitter still holds the recording and the composition, released under an open license that keeps the artist’s name attached.

The feed side of that promise is a podcast:license on the track and a short ownership attestation. The human side is someone actually hearing it. Both are seeds here; the exact checklist will change as the first real songs show up.

Two ways in

Read it as a church, or as someone with a song

Churches need to know what they may do with a listed song. Artists need to know what they are offering before a person reviews it.
